AMD will be a rather strange bedfellow with Nokia after joining up with the MeeGo open source project, and AMD's corporate vice-president of software development Ben Bar-Haim did mention the importance of their participation while letting folks know about what AMD's involvement level would be like - AMD will be offering engineering resources while hoping that this operating system will help power their embedded plans while creating expanded market opportunities for their forthcoming Accelerated Processing Units. Hmmm, there is always an axe to grind, isn't there? One the bright side, it is nice to see age old rivals put their differences aside for a common cause. Brings a tear to the eye, really.
